- Troubleshoots equipment using proper tools in a skilled craftsman-like manner.
- Performs assignments as directed by the Engineering Supervisor.
- Assumes the duties of other mechanics when required, including light carpentry, plumbing, grounds maintenance, electrical, painting, etc.
- Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Repairs all malfunctioning mechanical devices.
- Responds to room repairs regarding carpentry, electrical, plumbing, carpeting, painting, and furniture repair/refinishing.
- Responds to guest room calls
- Completes work tickets
- Maintains key control systems.
- Completes AM / PM checklist(s) daily.
- Reports any damage or malfunction of equipment.
- Performs inventory and control of specific items.
- Makes daily rounds of property to ensure smooth operation of all equipment.
- Adheres to all safety policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year of experience directly related to the essential functions
- Must possess outstanding customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, verbally interacts with management, servers, team members, and guests with proper etiquette, grammar, and spelling.
- Must be able to communicate in English with guests, management, and other employees to their understanding.
- Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to interpret spreadsheets.
- Able to use sound judgment; work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Performs well with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
- Must be able to work overtime including weekends, evenings, and special events as needed.
- Trade Certificate in Maintenance Management or a related certification
- Bilingual, English/Spanish
- Demonstrates consistency in values, principles, and work ethic

- Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand and talk or listen
- The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- This position requires frequent manual dexterity in combination with eye/hand coordination such as keyboarding and handling of tools and equipment.
- Will have repetitive hand motions and prolonged periods of standing.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Significant portions (more than 50%) of daily assignments involve exposure to dirt, odors, noise, or temperature/weather extremes. Working surfaces may be unlevel, slippery, or unstable.
- Significant portions (more than 50%) of daily assignments involve ergonomic risk, such regular repetitive tasks, forceful or prolonged exertions of the hands, vibration, cold temperatures, heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, or carrying of heavy objects, poor body mechanics, restrictive workstations, or awkward postures.
- The employee must occasionally lift up to 100 pounds as a team and carry up to 50 pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to high.
- Exposure to possible hazards which may include but are not limited to; cuts, slipping, tripping, falls, and burns.
- Exposure to heat, cold, and mild chemical exposure.
- PPE is required for certain tasks, to include safety glasses, hearing protection, dust masks, gloves, slip-resistant shoes (always) hard hats, and coveralls.
