- Understand, adhere to, and assist in developing all safety and housekeeping procedures.
- Demonstrate practical machining experience, including milling, lathe turning, precision grinding, and fine polishing.
- Utilize various metrology equipment and accurately document results.
- Proficiency in reading Mold Prints, 3D Renderings, and Schematics.
- Possess a working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including cylinders, motors, valve gates, and hot runner systems.
- Practical experience in injection molding, including addressing cooling, venting, and steel condition issues.
- Facilitate effective communication between processing, production, and maintenance groups.
- Assist in documenting mold setups and assembly procedures.
- Follow and implement all priorities regarding daily mold setups and repairs as per IQMS and scheduler.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as documented in the IQMS module.
- Minimum of two years of machine shop/mold maintenance experience required, along with a High School Degree or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and hydraulics.
- Fundamental mechanical aptitude and understanding of metrology and related equipment.
- Working knowledge of Windows-based PC programs.
- Experience in MIG or TIG welding is a plus.
- Swing shift - alternating between 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm weekly, or 3rd shift from 11pm-7am.
- Salary ranging from $57,600 to $78,500 per year.
