- Lead the architectural design process from concept development to construction documentation and administration.
- Develop creative and practical design solutions that align with client requirements, budget constraints, and regulatory standards.
- Produce accurate drawings, specifications, and renderings using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing conditions and gather relevant information for project planning.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into the architectural design.
- Review and approve contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material samples to ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior staff members, interns, and drafters.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to address project-related issues and ensure timely project delivery.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Registered Architect (RA) license in the state of New York.
- Familiarity with New York City Department of Buildings required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with sustainable design principles and LEED accreditation (preferred).
