- Lead building design and drawing preparation for structures, foundations, new builds, and retrofitting existing buildings.
- Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, fostering their professional development and growth.
- Conduct structural analysis and design for a variety of projects, utilizing expertise in steel, concrete, masonry, and foundation systems.
- Specialize in concrete foundations, pile foundations, settlement analysis, and sheeting systems.
- Design and implement secant and tangent pile wall systems, underpinning techniques, and ground improvement methods such as grouting and soil mixing.
- Offer value-engineered recommendations for foundations and support of excavation systems, optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or the ability to quickly obtain with a focus on Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of successful project management.
- Expertise in building design and drawing preparation, including both new builds and retrofitting existing structures.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
- Strong understanding of steel, concrete, masonry, and foundation systems.
- Experience with settlement analysis, sheeting systems, and ground improvement techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
