You are a proven collaborator who is solution and detail-oriented. You are an incredibly self-motivated, high energy individual who can function in a high-demand, performance-driven environment.You will cultivate and maintain working relationships with new and existing clients across the agency. Headquartered in Miami you will guide clients in planning and goal setting, working with a team to deliver a strategic framework, and narrative, while also being accountable for the fulfillment of all project deliverables across a client campaign/program from start to finish.People skills are a must for maintaining strong, strategic, and transparent relationships with clients and partners while also supervising, training, and inspiring talented, high-performing junior-level employees within your team to achieve professional growth and success.What you will do:Leadership, Performance Management & Talent Development:
  • Provides leadership to the client services organization, and counsel to the EVP, Department Head, and executive leaders, in implementing client and growth objectives, supports and implements Accounts process improvements that appropriately reflect the business goals of the agency.
  • Takes responsibility and accountability for the success of all employees who are a part of the integrated team that they lead, clearly communicating and facilitating roles and responsibilities delineation, and providing guidance, mentorship, and tools to facilitate goal achievement.
  • Contributes to building a team environment that facilitates mutual respect and partnership across functions, strategic thinking, appropriate risk-taking, open lines of communication between team members, ongoing performance feedback, professional development, and adherence to agency policy.
  • Hires, trains, develops, and manages a high-performing client services direct report team focusing on new customer acquisition and retention of valued clients.
  • Partners with the Operations team to maintain a steady pipeline of candidates and participate in the successful recruitment of top talent at all levels.
  • Conducts timely and constructive performance reviews for their direct reports.
Client Relationship Ownership & Leadership:
  • Act as a business leader within respective verticals and counsel clients and drive client leadership; own client partnership, retention, and accountability for the health of the business relationship
  • Manage high-level client relationships while also building and improving those relationships with key objectives of increasing We Are BMF profitability, delivering on clients' goals, while also spearheading best practices and organic growth
  • Develop plans for servicing clients, growing existing client business, and ensuring that all program objectives are understood and executed
  • Lead high-level / retainer budget conversations with clients
  • Develop trust with clients to ensure long-term relations with clients
Account & Project Leadership:
  • Own, lead, direct, and manage integrated account/project teams in effectively overseeing the execution of all vertical client initiatives from inception through completion, while also ensuring efficiency and profitability.
  • Leadership of periodic strategic planning efforts, advisory/strategy consulting engagements, and accountability for the quality and business impact of ongoing client work within your respective vertical
  • Active participation in milestone client calls, strategic and tactical planning sessions with specific client leadership, supervision and coaching of experienced direct reports to ensure flawless execution of deliverables, financial forecasting to align with overall company goals, and budget management
  • Works cross-functionally with the Business Development, Strategy, Public Relations, Digitial, and leadership teams to help properly define client expectations, and support methodologies to ensure overall agency success
  • Initiate and sell in opportunities for organic growth that generate significant income for BMF
  • Own significant milestone client presentations, showcasing functional experts to sell; sign off on final plans
  • Ability to project manage and provide proactive communication with all internal key leadership stakeholders from start to completion of a client-service program
Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for determining staffing needs within the Client Services/account team and extended teams
  • Responsible for managing team bandwidth, forecasting hours, and leading project resourcing decisions
  • Responsible for developing client SOWS, Change Orders, and LOI’s
  • Responsible for managing annual client budgets and overseeing all client billing and financial activity
RequirementsRequirements
  • 10+ years of account management experience in an agency environment (or a mix of in-house and agency backgrounds), including budget management for > $10MM in annual billings
  • 6-7+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing a team who are responsible for the day-to-day execution of client programs; Must thrive in building highly effective teams; possess strong people management skills
  • Proven strategic leadership and cross-team program management in a diverse matrix environment
  • Proven track record in client service, strategy development, partnerships, production and execution
  • Expertise in client's vertical industry - including but not limited to Travel/Hospitality, CPG, Spirits, Luxury, Fashion, and Beauty; Fortune 500 client experience preferred.
  • Ability to generate revenue-producing initiatives for organic growth
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Typical travel requirement of 30% to 50% including internal needs, with clients and prospects, and industry events; travel will fluctuate with activity and opportunity, and at times the requirement will be greater.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid (remote & in-office) work environment

Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of bonus or benefits.
