- Collaborates with HR Business Partners to provide guidance on compensation related issues for North America
- Evaluates job responsibilities/descriptions and collects market intelligence by participating in annual salary surveys, managing the market pricing system to assess our competitive position.
- Actively participates in the successful implementation and management of our annual compensation planning process (merit increases, pay adjustments, promotions and incentive calculations) which includes design updates and system testing.
- Interprets internal and external market drivers to evaluate current compensation programs and recommends and implements changes to improve program effectiveness.
- Conducts ad-hoc compensation analysis and project management including, but not limited to, financial modeling, data audits, pay changes or ad-hoc payment reports, and monitoring regulatory updates (federal, state and local legal requirements.
- Requires advanced knowledge of professional field and industry. Influences the development of and drives the application of principles, theories, concepts. Determines best course of action.
- Work under minimal supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May periodically assist in orienting, training, and/or reviewing the work of peers.
- Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.
- Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. May consult with senior management.
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 06-08 years related experience required.
- Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
