Requisition Number4077Job TitleDealerTypePart TimeJob DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition: DealerDepartment: Table GamesJob Summary:Responsible for the accurate, professional, and proficient dealing of assigned games in accordance with policy, procedures, rules, and internal controls and in compliance with applicable gaming regulations.Duties and Responsibilities: (Specific areas of responsibilities, include but not limited to.) * Responsible for the protection and control of assigned games and assets.
  • Conducts the games in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, handling player transactions and notifying Supervisor of any irregularities.
  • Advises Supervisor or Management of Table Games of any player disputes or procedural errors that may arise during the game.
  • Informs Supervisor or other supervisory personnel of any important or relevant facts regarding specific players and their action.
  • Maintains a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere providing the customer with a pleasant gaming experience, and notifying Supervisor of any customer needs i.e., cocktails Host Service, etc.
  • Promotes departmental and property wide promotions.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal gaming laws, rules, and regulations as well as the Company’s internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Responsible for adhering to the casino attendance policy.
Mandatory Requirements: * Successful completion of Casino del Sol's Blackjack Dealer School and/or successful completion of dealer audition. Proven knowledge, training and/or experience on the assigned game required. Basic knowledge of all current house procedures required.
  • Appropriate Licensure. Strong communication skills required.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms; and talk to hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the Employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock and radiation.
