Assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks. Will drive tow motor. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesUnloads or loads trucks at dock.
Helps to load trucks on pick-up routes.
Sorts merchandise into containers for processing and distribution.
Maintains a clean and safe working area.
Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred but not required.
Practical knowledge of dock work, including mechanical equipment used.
Experience operating a pallet jack, two-wheel dollies and four wheel carts.
Forklift experience preferred, but not required.
Must maintain the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to load and unload trucks of merchandise including clothing, household goods, furniture and appliances.
Able to sort and pack merchandise for safe storage or transport.Qualifications
Must maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to GESMV's liability insurance.
