Position SummaryCarlyle Private Credit seeks to hire an Associate to serve as a key member of the Carlyle Private Credit Portfolio Management team which focuses on liability management across the platform. This role will provide the Analyst/Associate with significant interaction with key senior management internally as well as growing external exposure to key parties including investors, lenders and ratings agencies. Analyst / Associate will develop both their business management acumen and credit skills in a team-oriented, fast-paced work environment.Responsibilities
  • Proactive management of various credit facilities by tracking portfolio investments, borrowing bases, credit line triggers and compliance.
  • Collaborating with other members of the Private Credit team to understand potential weaknesses in the portfolio and forecasting potential trigger events and cushion levels within each credit facility.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of various reporting requirements for key investors and lender partners.
  • Liaising with rating agencies to obtain and maintain portfolio investment ratings.
  • Working closely with Investor Relations to assist with communicating portfolio status to various internal and external stakeholders, and fundraising and investor relationship projects as the business continues to grow.
  • Working with cross platform teams to facilitate closing/funding of new and existing investments.
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of liability management experience, preferably in the direct lending or private credit space.
  • Experience and comfort with the portfolio investment rating process.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience managing large data sets a plus.
  • Comfort with analyzing legal documents including credit agreements, LSAs and LPAs.
  • Knowledge of loan securitizations is a plus.
  • Ideal candidate will have diversity of thought, natural quantitative and analytical skills, strong ambition, self-motivation and excellent communication skills.
Benefits/CompensationThe compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.The anticipated base salary range for this role is $150,000.In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs.
