The Continuous Improvement Program Leader will play a strategic role in promoting and developing a culture of operational excellence, emphasizing the Total Productive Maintenance methodology. This individual will lead the adoption of Total Productive Maintenance throughout our production facilities, boost the involvement of production staff in ongoing improvement initiatives, provide specialized training and resources to enhance their skills, and act as a driving force to lead production teams to excellence.The position is based at our Porcari (Lucca) Plant. The site employs around 150 individuals and houses a six-line roll converting department for toilet paper, kitchen towels, and industrial rolls, in addition to a product storage warehouse. The role will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager.What You Will DoAct as a model for safety.Support operational staff in implementing strategic Total Productive Maintenance pillars according to the business roadmap, which includes Preventive Maintenance, Autonomous Management, Focus Improvement, and Education & Training.Conduct loss analysis to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve performance.Continuously improve team efficiency in operating equipment through standard settings and practices, and set new benchmarks where necessary.Deliver training to strengthen methodological skills for process optimization.Coach operational staff on improvement projects to ensure outstanding results.Instruct, inform, and assist operational staff in utilizing Total Productive Maintenance Enablers.Initiate and drive Kaizen activities on the shop floor.Who You AreA Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of experience is required.Experience in Lean, particularly in implementing successful Toyota Production System-based Lean management programs, including kaizen events, 5S, TPM, Visual Management, Kata, standardized work, and leader standard workCandidates should possess 3 to 7 years of experience in a role within an industrial company that maintains a robust Continuous Improvement culture.Outstanding communication skills are crucial, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively at all levels of a matrix organization.Applicants must have strong problem-solving capabilities, excellent analytical skills, project management proficiency, and a comprehensive understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean and Six Sigma.Leadership and team management abilities are essential, as well as strategic thinking and planning competencies.What We Can Offer YouAt Essity, we believe that learning and professional development are unique to each individual.
