Company Overview: The independent mental health clinic is a new and exciting outpatient therapy program that provides clinical treatment to participants of all ages. Services will be provided both virtually and at our office setting in Cliffside Park, NJ. We are seeking a part-time Psychiatrist with an active licensure in New Jersey to medically direct the outpatient program.Expectations of the Psychiatric Medical Director:· Evaluate all participants in the outpatient program· Provide psychiatric evaluations for initial screening· Make treatment recommendations for the most appropriate level of care· Administer and monitor psychotropic medication· Provide consultations and evaluations on a scheduled or emergency basis· Provide clinical oversight to clinical providers· Oversee clinical treatment for all patients· Participate in clinical case conferences· Stay updated with the standards and rules of accrediting agencies and governing bodies to ensure compliance with regulations.· Monthly clinical quality assurance evaluations with the Clinical Director· Reporting and documentation· Involvement in policy development and implementation· Performs other duties as assigned· Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations to foster collaboration and referrals.· Provide training and develop as needed that support clinical staffQualifications:· Must have an active State of New Jersey Medical License· Board Certified or Board Eligible status is required· Minimum 1year experience providing psychiatric medical services in an outpatient setting, preferred· Bilingual, preferredFlexible work from home options available.
