Manager of IT and NetworksScope of RoleThe Manager of IT and Networks will be responsible for managing the various functions of the Information Technology Department., including applications, systems and infrastructure for internal users (local and remote)Our client is a growth technology firm that plans on rapid growth of their user and customer base in FYs 2024+2025.This role requires regular office presence at the Dallas are HQ. This is not a 100% WFH position.The IT Manager is expected to be available for meetings, technlogy projects and respond to technical outages and migrations.If you can't satisfy the work requirement, we encourage you to apply to our other open roles.Local candidates only.No relocation or work visa assistance provided.Responsibilities:This firm works with a Managed Service vendor that provides network/ infrastructure services, and end-user break-fix, device, connectivity and applications support under an existing SLA. This role will manage that vendor and collaborate to plan and execute the IT aspect of our firm’s growth plan.
  • Monitor service level metrics and response times and redirect team & MSP activities as needed.
  • Design and execute projects to improve systems and operations.
  • Develop and document new support and operations processes.
  • Manage hardware and software purchasing (including new employee onboarding technology setup)
  • Ensure accurate asset management records.
  • Player-Coach position: Willing to jump in and help out with support issues as needed.
  • Recognize inefficiencies and drive process improvement to enhance productivity
  • Manage and own the IT Service management process with focus on excellent user experience.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.5-7+ years' experience in Enterprise IT Support Management.Previous experience with Enterprise or MSP UCaaS Services highly desired.Strong track record of managing remote teams, vendors, projects, budgets, schedules and other resources.2-3+ years leading a support function, including onsite, remote and MSP resourcesTechnical Domains
  • LAN Administration, SaaS productivity and identity management tools.
  • MS O365/ Exchange
  • Infrastructure, including premise-based and Cloud.
  • Network, Security, and Applications. Firewall experience required
  • AV and Communications systems such as VoIP, SIP Phones, VTC, UC.
  • Deploying and supporting user endpoints, including MDM, BYOD, Desktop, Laptop.
  • Knowledge of security, identity management, productivity, communications, and collaboration applications.
Personal & Communications SkillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams, customers, and external vendors.Excellent customer service, organizational, prioritization, multitasking, communication and leadership skills.Ability to understand and leverage internal and vendor technology teams to improve processes, systems and maximize resources.
