Responsibilities
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to Warehouse Management standards
- Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. Assist with counting of physical inventory as needed
- Assist shipping and receiving with unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pull material, pack boxes and place orders in the delivery area
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. Sweep, dust, and mop when needed. Organize the warehouse and work area to maintain orderliness
- Ensure proper documentation to maintain inventory and warehouse integrity
- Ensure procedures are followed and executed correctly
- Recognize problems or quality concerns and escalate understanding the impact to product quality or process flow
- Communicate and work collaboratively with team members to ensure production flows smoothly
- Maintain an organized work area (5s system)
- Maintain compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements, including HIPAA
- Adheres to attendance and punctuality guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Previous experience in medical device industry
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds from floor to table
- Ability to stand for 2-3 hour blocks
- Preferred Ability to safely operate a forklift or able to successfully pass forklift training within 30 days of hire
- Comfortable working on computers, especially Microsoft Outlook. Navigating ERP and QMS systems
