In this role, the Senior Content Writing Associate will focus on developing and executing content strategies that drive website traffic, educate prospects, build our brand, and accelerate conversions across the funnel. Reporting into the Senior Manager, Demand & Lifecycle Content, this individual will be responsible for the creation of a broad array of outputs, from blog copy and educational materials to product guides, email nurtures, and more. As a dexterous and prolific writer, the Senior Content Writing Associate should be well-acquainted with digital marketing best practices and have a solid understanding of organic search trends, growth experimentation, and can work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver key assets.Job ResponsibilitiesExecute on content marketing strategies that align with our overall marketing goals and target audience segmentsCraft and curate content that resonates with our brand position, ensuring consistency across all communication channels and reinforcing our unique identity and toneCreate compelling and high-quality content and copy for various digital formats, including the website, blog posts, and email nurturesLeverage proprietary and market research to inform the development of compelling industry and use-case specific reports and guidesManage ongoing strategic projects with multiple stakeholders and quick turnaround timesTypical QualificationsBachelor’s degree, preferably in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field3-5 years of proven experience in B2B content marketingStrong portfolio showcasing prior work, including landing page and web copy, email nurture sequences, long-form blog posts, and articles that have driven measurable resultsProvide a link to your portfolio of workExtra credit: Please provide a short intro letter explaining why this position interests youExcellent communication skills and a bias for action, with a knack for managing workstreams in a heavily matrixed organizationA track record of working with subject matter experts both internal and external to the org who can provide expert commentary for content marketing materialsAn ability to translate complex healthcare industry topics and data outputs into engaging and accessible contentAn understanding of SEO best practices and experience generating content that’s optimized for searchAbout athenahealthHere’s our vision: To create a thriving ecosystem that delivers accessible, high-quality, and sustainable healthcare for all.What’s unique about our locations?
