Community Living Alliance has been rated among the top 20% of employers on indeed for our Indeed Work Wellbeing Score!Position SummaryIn-Home Caregiving helps someone remain independent and in their own home as early as 6 AM till 10 PM at night. CLA does not provide overnight care. Caregivers express that their work is extremely rewarding and gives them a sense of worth being able to help others. The work you do every day as an in-home caregiver has a purpose and helps another individual.Looking to work part or full time? Wanting to work 2 or 3 hours a few times a week helping individuals in their home? Our in-home caregiver position will work around your childcare, school schedule, other job or other life scenarios. We have clients on bus routes or within walking distance depending on your location! Shifts range from 1-3 hours at a time and candidate would travel between different clients depending on the number of hours candidate wants to work. This means the more hours you want to work, the more clients you will need to provide cares for.While each person is unique and has different care needs, below is a sample of personal cares you may provide while caring for an individual at Community Living Alliance:
  • Activities of Daily Living (which could include are not limited to)
  • Dressing
  • Bathing
  • Grooming
  • Transferring
  • Mobility
  • Instrumental Activities Daily Living (could include but not limited to)
  • Meal preparation
  • Housekeeping
  • Grocery shopping
  • Complete required documentation of records of care

*If working an average of 30 hours or more per weekMinimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
  • Own a Smart Phone for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
  • Capable of lifting/moving/pushing/pulling 35 pounds
  • Authorized to Work in the United States
