Job Description:is currently seeking a full-time clinical pediatric hospitalist to join our growing team as we add an additional affiliation with Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital where in partnership with their Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine pediatricians, we will provide medical management on their 10-bed inpatient pediatric unit. Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility that is ranked the #1 rehabilitation hospital in the state of Florida by U.S. News and World Report. The team will provide comprehensive pediatric care to this group of medically complex children during their inpatient stay with the availability of the full array of pediatric subspecialist support available through the Nemours system. They will partner with our current Hospitalist team which is based at Wolfson Children's Hospital and consists of 13 physicians, 5 advanced practice providers and 4 registered nurses, with a combined experience of over 180 years of Hospital medicine. The current practice operates out of our partner hospital, Wolfson Children's Hospital. Wolfson Children's Hospital is a 276 -bed tertiary care children's hospital. It is the only children's hospital in five counties in the north Florida region and currently the largest children's hospital in the state of Florida and provides comprehensive care to hospitalized children in Northeast Florida, Southeast Georgia and neighboring areas. Primary academic affiliations are with the Mayo School of Medicine.PHM faculty serve in many leadership roles in the hospital, residency program, utilization management, quality, clinical pathways and clinical operations. Faculty are part of the VIP network and are involved in multi-site projects.Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in pediatrics or PHM and able to obtain an unrestricted FL license.The state of Florida is known for not having an income tax.
