The role can be located either at our headquarters in Malmö, Sweden, or at our Amsterdam office (with travel as necessary to Malmö HQ).ABOUT OATLY GLOBAL SOCIAL:Oatly’s Global Social team is a small, agile team overseeing the ongoing management of Oatly’s social platforms across all markets.The team is responsible for ensuring that Oatly’s unconventional style and creative approach translates across key social platforms.The team works hand-in-hand with various departments across the organization, including Brand Directors and leads from local markets, Oatly’s in-house creative team (the Oatly Department of Mind Control, aka ODMC) and Oatly’s global media, communications and editorial departments.THE ROLE:We’re looking for an experienced Social Content Specialist who has sound knowledge and passion for social media platforms and trends, has experience developing exciting content strategies and frameworks and is able to work alongside creative teams to help design world class social content that builds advocacy, drives brand engagement alongside commercial and societal impact.As Social Content Specialist, you’ll be a connoisseur of social media, particularly TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Reddit whilst being aware and on top of what is coming next in the social media landscape.You’ll be responsible for managing the delivery of social content to fuel Oatly social channels, the bulk of which is made for social by Oatly in-house, some repurposed from local campaigns and increasingly some from the brilliant social content creators that we love to collaborate with. You will work alongside the creative teams to inspire and teach them platform best practice, how to break the rules and most importantly create world class content that stands out. Your role as social media manager is to support the Social Content Lead, and help creative teams get this work out into the world.WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO:SOCIAL STRATEGY & FRAMEWORK CREATOR (by project)Create social content strategy & frameworks for all Oatly activations from the global content studio, brand campaigns, coffeeshop promotions and the global brand social. Bring all your social platform, formats and trends knowledge into the work, looking at previous work to understand what is engaging our fanbase the most. Your chief task is to create strategies that inspire creatives and enhance our storytelling capabilities across the social media landscape. You will work closely with the media team and our media agency Jellyfish to align on objectives and KPI’s relevant to the platform and idea.BE AN AMBASSADOR OF THE ORGANIC PUBLISHING PROCESSHelp the workload flow smoothly and systematically by being a guardian and supporter of the organic publishing process at Oatly.Be a champion for internal best practice, learn the process and be responsible for teaching new members of the core team and Oatly at large.Feedback to the Social Content Lead any new ways of working that can help improve the process.HAVE A HEALTHY OBSESSION WITH SOCIAL CONTENT CREATORSWho’s hot, who’s not. You should know who is shaping the cultural agenda, advocating for change, creating content that leaves a lasting impact long and short term. Creators are a valuable part of our social content strategy and you’ll be responsible for finding, vetting, briefing and managing a flow of creators to fuel our always on content calendar and engage more people across the globe.SPRINKLR CHAMPIONBe a champion of Sprinklr both with your team mates and the media agency.Follow the process and maintain good working practices to ensure that all your projects and campaigns are implemented into the system in the correct manner.Attend training and update sessions and share information with the wider team regarding issues, challenges or improvements.GLOBAL SOCIAL STRATEGY CONTRIBUTORWork closely with the Global Media Director & Social Content Lead to develop the social media strategy playbook for Oatly. Update this on an ad-hoc basis to incorporate new learning and platforms.COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT CONNECTORCreate closer connection with the community management team.Be responsible for providing the project brief to the community team.Help them understand the creative idea, problem we are trying to solve so they can manage any potential conflicts or drive engagement in a specific way.Lean on them for insight and understanding of previous campaigns so this can be built into your new strategies.TRANSLATION & TRANSCREATION MANAGEMENTEvolve and maintain the process for closer collaboration and smooth working practices between Oatly and the agency partner for translations (Freedman International).Seek ways to innovate and find improved ways of working in the translation and transcreation space. Where possible automate parts of the process to reduce time spent on admin tasks.WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:You are a social media expert and a skilled project managerAlong with living and breathing social media platforms, trends, strategies and audiences, you must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time whilst collaborating with team mates, markets, agency partners and creators. You will be managing production budgets, timelines and the creative development production process, attention to detail and the ability to remain calm in the chaos is key to the role.You have strong communication skillsThis role requires collaboration with your Global social & media team mates, and the rest of the creative department. You will be expected to answer platform, technical, translation, creative, format and timing questions from the creative team. Requests often come from colleagues without a social media background, which requires you to act in the role of an intermediary. This is where your knowledge, communication and project management skills will come in handy.You possess strong creative and technical skills
  • Confidence to advise on content creation and recommend formats and storytelling cadence.
  • Identifies gaps in the content calendar and gathers the creative teams to solve the problem.
  • An eye for creativity, understands what good copywriting and design look like.
  • Ability to make objective recommendations on how to enhance and optimize creative for social platforms.
  • Detailed understanding of social media management tools both organic and paid.
  • Utilize our publishing and advertising tool, Sprinklr, on a daily basis.
  • The ability to develop campaign structure and set up organic campaigns within Sprinklr (and the social platforms themselves).
  • 5+ years social media & content management experience.
  • Ability to use social listening tools to gain insight and understanding into post performance.
  • Experience with social media strategy and implementation.
  • Monitors the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how Oatly can best leverage new formats and services.
