This is a remote position, however, the candidate must reside within 30 miles of one of the following locations: Portland ME, Boston MA, Washington DC, Dallas TX and San Jose CA.About the RoleWe are seeking an engineer to enable the delivery of large-scale end-to-end Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. Responsible for providing hands-on support in the implementation and optimization of MDM solutions (B2B Customer and Product). Your role will involve collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand data process requirements and challenges, and the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of these solutions.You will play a critical role in ensuring data quality, data integration, and consistency across enterprise systems.What You'll DoAct as Principal for the technical implementation and support of large-scale MDM projects.Actively participate in business requirement and user-story creation and documentationCreate development artifacts including data models (ERDs), data profiles, developer documentation, and business user documentation.Integrate Data Governance definitions and policies into data models and MDM workflows.Create enrichment solutions, perform data quality functions, and resolve technical incidents.Develop and customize data models for Customer 360, Product 360, and Reference 360.Collaborate with engineering teams to implement an event-based data ingest/egress architectureContribute to business development activities and collaborate within a team using an agile framework.How You’ll Make An ImpactInsights Driven: Clear hypothesis and objective driven analytics that help drive our business decisions and ongoing metricsStakeholder Aligned: Understand the needs and audience for deliverables with a succinct and tailored message to maximize impactResults Focused: Rigorous focus on how analytics drive the end-to-end experiences with a clear path to production and measurable impactStrategic Mindset: Drive continual improvement of our team's best practices and processes to power collaborationQuality Mindset: Trust in our findings is critical so data and analytic quality are understood and accounted for from the beginningRelevant Expertise: Brings a deep understanding of analytics, applied technologies, and domain experienceExperience You'll BringBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.3-5 years of hands-on experience as an MDM Developer or Business Analyst.In-depth knowledge of MDM concepts including complex hierarchies and entity-based data modelingStrong technical skills in SaaS MDM, Multi-domain MDM, and Salesforce Data Cloud.Experience in designing and implementing MDM solutions, data models, and hierarchies.Proficient in data consolidation, ETL, data quality, data security, and data governance practices.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.What would make you stand outExperience in delivering complex MDM solutions.Designing operating models for Master Data Management and implementing digital solutions (AI/ML).Knowledge across data domains, especially in financial or payments industries.Cross-functional knowledge of enterprise data concepts and participation in the Analytics Center of Excellence.Familiarity with data manipulation tools like SQL, dbt, Dataiku, etc.Familiarity with ETL tools like Informatica Cloud, Workato, Jitterbit, Talend, etc.Previous experience in fintech, payments, or health industries.The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
