- Must be able to support both customer and ASRC Federal Senior Test Engineers by reviewing plans and procedures and provide key input to ensure test success.
- Perform engineering analysis, and review instrumentation set-ups.
- Brief Customers and Contract management of Test Status and walk through test readiness prior to receiving permission to test.
- Will be required to stay abreast of the test stand work progress and provide expert advice to the test team technicians and site leadership.
- Will be required to manage several projects for the contract.
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Be responsible to ensure chemical and material safety is planned into every aspect of Test Area Buildup.
- Attend test program concept briefs and offer requirements to assist the test program start their build-up in compliance with safety, environmental and quality.
- Manage a portfolio of projects and ensure the project is meeting the customer requirements laid out in the approved Work Plan.
- Evaluate all test program standard operating procedures and test operations procedures and resolve all safety issues and coordinate with quality assurance manager to analyze all safety requirements.
- Participate in various test site reviews and when necessary, recommend modifications to existing design and ensure compliance to all organization requirements and administer all human safety.
- Participate in all test activities, evaluate all system engineering documents, and ensure compliance to all safety requirements.
- Ensure all pre-test requirements are met before allowing test are briefed to the AFRL Command.
- Review and monitor all AFRL safety policies and instructions and communicate all changes to the AFRL management staff.
- Evaluate all AF system safety engineering requirements.
- Must be able to gain access to the customer’s computer networks.
- Must have the ability to maintain a professional demeanor.
- Will be required to work, at times, outdoors in extreme cold and hot weather.
- Will be required to plan each task or job with other co-workers before beginning.
- Will be required to drive an ASTROS leased vehicle.
- Relevant Engineering Degree
- 10 years of related experience
- Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance
