Direct & Indirect Purchasing - Senior buyer/Manager

• This role is responsible to research, evaluating, and negotiating with vendors to secure the best deals for products and services, including managing purchase orders, inventory and supplier relationships.
• Also, this role is responsible to coordinate with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt of goods, inspecting product quality upon delivery, and maintaining accurate records of purchases and deliveries.

• Researching potential products, vendors, and services to ensure optimal pricing and quality comparisons.
• Overseeing inventory levels and managing purchase orders to maintain stock levels.
• Coordinating with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Conducting inspections of purchased products upon delivery and promptly reporting any issues.
• Maintaining accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and invoices.
• Preparing reports on purchasing activities and conducting cost analyses.
• Negotiating contracts with vendors and clients to secure favourable terms.
• Fostering professional relationships with key vendors.
• Participating in meetings with staff and stakeholders to contribute insights.
• Managing suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and quality of parts.
• Performing additional duties as required.

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Business/Finance/Supply Chain or any related studies.
• Min 5 years of experience in related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP management systems
• Strong organizational and negotiation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication in English & Bahasa Malaysia
