We’re looking for people who are passionate about payments to chart Worldpay’s path to being the largest and most-loved payments company in the world.About the teamThe Database and Middleware team, part of the wider Infrastructure Services organization provides the on-premises and public cloud database and middleware services that underpin and serve many of our payment platforms and critical back-office applications to Worldpay.What you will be doingAs the Head of Database and Middleware, you’ll bring a depth of experience required to manage a large-scale complex environment that has stringent uptime requirements to support our diverse payments platforms. Worldpay powers 2.2 trillion payments annually across 146 countries in over 135 separate currencies with over a million-merchant supported globally.As a senior leader, with 10+ years leadership experience in this field, you’ll lead teams across the US, EMEA and APAC regions to provide a best-in-class service to our internal and external client base.
