Offer DescriptionThe research fellow's primary objective will be to examine governance tools that facilitate urban and regional accessibility in Sardinia. This will be achieved through an investigation of "Demand Responsive Transport" (DRT) services, spatial analysis techniques, and geographic information systems, in addition to a theoretical analysis of smart city concept. These tools will have to support the development of connection systems between coastal and inland areas in order to enhance inland areas and increase economic, environmental and social sustainability in Sardinia, focusing on the vocations and potential of each territorial unit. In addition, the research fellow will have to participate in the management, aggregation, visualisation and processing of data resulting from geospatial analysis that will take place through the Snap4City platform and will participate in the activities envisaged by the project of relevant interest.RequirementsAdditional InformationEligibility criteriaEligible destination country/ies for fellows:
