DescriptionPosition at Tokio Marine HCCJob SummaryUnder immediate supervision, performs a variety of primarily routine tasks associated with the policy issuance department.Key Responsibilities· Assigns Policy Number in PA Contracts for new groups multiple times per day.· Binds MSL and OT groups multiple times per day.· E-mails daily binder list to all required parties every morning.· E-mail the UR Transmittal Form for UR Vendors that submit electronic pre-certs when binding.· Process all non-renewals upon notification from the Underwriter/Sales Administrator· Follow up on all outstanding requirements after policy has been issued.· Follow up with region office on outstanding amendments.· Process Policyholder name changes after issuance.· E-mail mid-month letters to Producers for new account policyholder letters.· Distributes daily mail.· Assists Policy Issuance staff as necessary. This includes but is not limited to pre-audits and plan documents.· Complete projects and other duties as assigned by Manager.· Maintenance of good attendance is a condition of employment and an essential function of your job.Education· Minimum High School Diploma or GEDExperience· 2 years relevant and progressive experience in UnderwritingOther· Possess and have ability to apply basic knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures· Good written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy· Good organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously· Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)Working Conditions and Physical Demands· Overtime hours may be required to fulfill job responsibilities· May be required to remain stationary for extended periods of time· May be required to move up to 10 pounds· Must be able to operate a computer and other devices· Close vision and ability to adjust focus, such as required to read a computer screen
