Glass InstallerOverview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glass Installer to join our team. As a Glass Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing various types of glass in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal Glass Installer candidate will have expertise in handling different glass types, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.Responsibilities:
  • Install, replace, and repair glass in windows, doors, storefronts, curtain wall, and other structures according to specifications and building codes, utilizing Glass Installer expertise.
  • Measure and cut glass to size, utilizing precision tools and techniques expected from a Glass Installer.
  • Remove existing glass and prepare surfaces for installation, ensuring proper sealing and weatherproofing, maintaining Glass Installer standards.
  • Work with a variety of glass types, including tempered, laminated, and insulated glass, showcasing Glass Installer proficiency.
  • Collaborate with contractors, builders, and clients to understand project requirements and provide recommendations when needed, using Glass Installer knowledge.
  • Safely transport glass materials to job sites and handle them with care during installation, as required by Glass Installer protocols.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Glass Installer or similar role within the glass installation industry.
