Entreprise :Our client is an international organization located in Nyon.Description du poste :Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Officer will support the organization with completing the financial analysis for vendor sub-ledger balances and project balances. The main responsibilities will focus on reviewing the analysis completed by regional offices, reviewing the proposed recommendations for handling specific issues highlighted during the analysis phase, and working with the offices to implement the recommendations.The position will work towards achieving the following:Vendor Subledger Balance Analysis
  • Review the Regional Implementing Partner balances by sub-award and follow up with project finance managers
  • Assess and adjust remaining vendor historical manual entries
  • Propose recommendations for issues highlighted during the vendor sub-ledger analysis
  • Monitor implementation of the application of invoices against payments in the regions
  • Clean up long outstanding accounts payable document while tracking progress in the regions
Projects in Deficit Analysis
  • Run and review the regional and country projects in deficit reports and work with the offices to determine if further action is required after the vendor sub-ledger fixes
Training
  • Complete and update the recommendation guide to ensure all scenarios have clear steps
  • Support regional and country offices with the implementation of proposed actions
Description du profil :The successful Finance Officer will bring the following background and experience:
  • Recognized accounting qualification or degree in a relevant discipline
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional finance experience in an international environment
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and writing skills
  • Excellent command of computer skills, including knowledge of financial systems
  • Aptitude to work with minimal supervision within diverse multicultural teams
  • Strong interpersonal proficiency with the ability to support staff at various levels to perform financial tasks
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to various work tasks
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English; knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage
