What You’ll Do:
  • Caregivers provide personal care for their clients. - This could include (but is not limited to) assisting the patient with activities of daily living such as helping with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair), ambulation, eating, dressing, and shaving, light housekeeping, and other household chores.
  • You don’t have to be a gourmet chef, but you can prepare a good meal and work your way around a kitchen.
Must Haves:
  • High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
  • Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
  • Have a valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
