Directly support production of custom viral vectors as part of the Neuroscience Center Viral Vector Core through maintenance of cell stocks, amplification and purification of viral vectors and quality control metrics. Aid in lab management by maintaining lab buffer stocks, ordering, keeping databases updated, intake of requests/materials and handling shipping requests.
Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsDemonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperiencePrevious cell culture experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be highly organized, have the ability to multi-task,
communicate clearly, promote and participate in collaborative endeavors, take initiative, and be
intellectually vested in the lab's research goals.
