Job Description for a Senior Relationship Manager for the Private Equity, & Consultancy vertical in the Financial Institutions Group(FIG)- Kotak Mahindra Bank The Banking & Financial Institutions Group(BFIG) is an integral part of the Wholesale Banking Group(WBG) within Kotak Bank. It provides integrated banking service to diverse client verticals within the financial sector namely Private Equity & Real Estate Funds, Alternative Investment Funds(I, II, III), PMS, Family Offices, Foreign Portfolio Investors(FPIs), Finacial Consultancy Firms,Correspondent Banks, Global Capability Centres, NBFCs, Capital & Commodity Market brokerages, Mutual Funds and Insurance Companies etc. Within this, BFIG provides an arraty of services like fx remiitances, custody, escrow, structured financing solutions, complete suite of liabiity and asset products, derivates clearing services. Job Title: Deputy Vice President(M6) Reporting to : Executive Vice President (M9) Location: Mumbai Synopsis: Relationship Manager for the Private Equity and Consultancy verticals within the Financial Institutions Group(FIG) at Kotak Mahindra Bank. Job Role : Originate new business from Indian and foreign private equity and real estate funds to achieve strong fee income (fx, custody, escrow, CMS), sustainable high current account balances and also support in originating PE related financing opportunities. Hands-on relationship management of the Bank's existing select private equity/real estate fund clients and Financial Consultancy clients and deeper mining for enhanced business. End-to End internal coordination for transactions, regular account management for with multiple internal departments like Credit, CAD, Treasury, Custody, Escrow, CMS and other operations departments. Job Requirements: M.B.A from reputed institutes or C.A or CFA. sOverall work experience in banking and financial services of around 8-10 years with hands-on experience of at least 5 years as a business development Relationship Manager sourcing asset, fx, trade and liability related products. Sound background knowledge of financial sector at large with specific experience of private equity banking and FDI custody segment in particular will be preferred. Sound sales orientation with persistence and drive to break into sticky business. Strong domain expertise with asset, fx, trade and cash management services is necessary.
