- Enforce airfield policies, procedures, and industry standards, while also preparing reports on Airfield Operations activities and incidents.
- Supervise scheduling for commercial air carriers, cargo, and charter flights, ensuring continuity of service and terminal efficiency during construction and irregular operations.
- Lead the hiring, training, and evaluation of operations staff, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.
- Monitor airfield safety and security to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, including FAA Part 139, issuing Notices to Air Missions (NOTAMS) as needed.
- Respond to emergencies, providing directions and support to airlines, tenants, contractors, and travelers.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to airport users, coordinating after-hours maintenance and emergency repairs as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, airport operations, or a related field preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of airport operations, FAA regulations (Part 139 and Part 77), project management principles, gate management software, and environmental/engineering regulations.
- 5 or more years of related airport experience.
- Leadership or team lead experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively train, evaluate, and resolve conflicts within teams.
- Proficiency in airfield communication tools and emergency operations, as well as budget management and finance principles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver compelling presentations.
- Certification as an Airport Certified Employee (ACE) by the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), or the ability to achieve ACE certification within 2 years of employment.
