Responsibilities and Skills:
  • Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electronic problems
  • Diagnostics abilities specifically Cummins engines, Detroit engines, Paccar engines, Volvo Mack engines and all makes and models.
  • Performs guidance on triage to determine the best solutions to assist customers.
  • Perform general and detailed repair and installations of all trucks, engines, and components.
  • Provide mentorship, instruction, and advise to other technicians.
  • Required to operate diagnostic test equipment proficiently.

Qualification:Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License (CDL Preferred)
  • At least 4 years' experience as a technician working on heavy duty Class 8 trucks.
  • ASE Certification in PM, Brakes, A/C, Electrical, Electronics and/or ASE Master Mechanic Preferred
