Job DescriptionFLINT is currently seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators for a fly-in, fly-out position with provided flights to/from Edmonton/Calgary or bussing from Fort McMurray, along with camp accommodation.As part of our Mining Team, you will be responsible for operating an Excavator, Loader, and other heavy equipment in the open pit mine and surrounding areas. Utilizing your expertise in pipe-fusing HDPE, you will set up the pipe in the dewatering area. With a 7/7 schedule and 11.5-hour shifts, you'll have a balanced work-life arrangement. If you have a valid driver's license, CSO certification, HDPE certification, and a minimum of 5000 hours of experience operating heavy equipment, we invite you to apply today!What would you be doing?
Setting up pipe in the dewatering area using pipe fusing HDPE.
Operating an Excavator, Loader and other heavy equipment in an open pit mine and/or surrounding area.
Operate assigned heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Understand and adhere to all policies, procedures and standards.
Participate in all safety and culture-boosting programs.
Train on new equipment when requested.

Valid driver's license with 3-year driver's abstract required.
Minimum of 5,000 hours on the following equipment: Loader, D6+ dozer, 450+ Excavator, Grader, 777+ Haul Truck, Articulating truck
Pipefusion HDPE certificate is required.
Open pit mining experience is an asset.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
