- Before starting in the position you must have completed a Norwegian doctoral degree or corresponding foreign doctoral degree recognized as equivalent to a Norwegian PhD in artificial intelligence, statistics, mathematics, or a related area (Code 1109) or in the process of doing so (Code 1108). In the latter case you need to provide a statement from your supervisor about the expected finalization of the PhD.
- Good programming skills in Python or Julia, including comprehensive experience with modern machine learning libraries.
- Published scientific articles in the field of this position.
- Good written and oral English language skills
- The optimal candidate has a drive to produce high quality work publishable at high-ranking venues, and an already established publication-record at said venues.
- Experience in both theoretical and applied work.
