- Design, develop, enhance, maintain, and provide production support for critical enterprise applications used by the Operations and Customer Center (OCC).
- Develop and maintain DevOps processes for cloud infrastructure both on premises (Red Hat OpenShift) and in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Provide code reviews, training, and guidance for junior developers.
- Accurately estimate deliverable timelines.
- Translate sophisticated business requirements into functional code.
- Write automated unit, integration, and e2e tests.
- Build conceptual, logical, and physical architectures and curate OpenAPI specs.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, business partners and vendors.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 3-6 years experience using one of the following:Web logic, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, Apache Kafka
- At least 3-6 years of experience using Java/J2EE, Git, and one or more of the following: Quarkus, Hibernate, Spring, Web Services, Spring Boot
- At least 3-6 years experience using one or more of the following:PostgreSQL, Oracle,SQL and / or MySQL
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.
- Quality forward development practices, with automation at the forefront for continuous quality.
- Implementation using best practices for information security.
- Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.
- Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.
- 3-6 years of hands-on development experience in a professional capacity using JavaScript, Angular, CSS, APIs, AWS Cloud Services, Cucumber, Rest Assured, Jenkins, CI/CD Pipeline, Power Mockito, Mockito, Junit, and Microservices.
- AWS Certifications
- Hands on Development and Exposure to AWS.
- Previous IT Airline experience
