Job Posting SummaryBaptist Medical Center is looking to add a Certified Nursing Assistant / Health Unit Coordinator in our Progressive Care Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-Time evenings opportunity. Shift Details: 3:00pm- 11:00pm Monday-Friday weekends as needed.The Certified Nursing Assistant / Health Unit Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including:
  • Maintaining a safe environment
  • Intake and output monitoring;
  • Electronic medical record documentation.
  • Performing clerical and secretarial activities of the nursing units
  • Answering call lights and telephones promptly
  • Ordering inventory of unit supplies and equipment
  • Maintaining patient chart folders
  • Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles
  • Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station
  • Payroll functions
  • Supporting Nurse Managers
  • Activities of Daily Living
