Job DescriptionJob Title: HR Lead
Location: Geneva, Switzerland
Contract type: Fixed Term contract for 12 monthsRoles and Responsibilities:This role reports into the HR Manager. The Lead HR will work with the HRM in making sure the local HR compliance is achieved, with the support of offshore teams based in India. HR point of contact for a population for employees in Switzerland region specifically for employees in based in Geneva , including employees on temporary assignments. He/She will actively participate in maintaining a healthy social climate as well as a supportive and effective HR service to local business leaders.
  • Conduct all inductions/on-boarding related efforts for new hires, transfers, etc. and follow up on trial period outcomes.
  • Recommend and deliver local solutions covering multiple areas of human resources including employee on-boarding, local benefits, performance mgmt., employee relations or other HR business topics.
  • Partner with local leadership and business teams to provide HR solutions and be able to conceptualize, implement and manage the programs at a local level.
  • Knowledge and on the Job experience of Swiss ARD TUPE transfers and legislations
  • Responsible for administering the benefits, systems, payroll, policies for transferred employees to ensure smooth transition from client org. to Infosys as per Swiss TUPE legislation (Article 333 of Swiss Code of obligations)
  • Effectively partner with Central HR Functions such as compensation & benefits, talent acquisition, payroll, employment legal etc.
  • Ensure temporary assignees from abroad are welcomed and well assisted upon arrival to Switzerland and throughout their assignment.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to managers on HR-related matters.
  • Ensure HR policies, documentation and procedures are complaint with Swiss labour laws and regulations and reviewed from time to time.
  • Manage day to day workflow and HR processes including preparation of payroll information, administrative HR support (maintain employee files, gather HR metrics and prepare reports, etc.), and internal customer service to our employees as required.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Actively contribute to the development, local implementation and coordination of HR strategies, policies and operations in partnership with business unit and regional leadership
  • Focus on ensuring employee satisfaction and engagement through various initiatives along with the team.
  • Develop and implement appropriate employee engagement and communication programs.
Skills required:Experience in human resource functions in Geneva, Switzerland is necessary, ideally in an international matrix environment, on topics such as employment, compensation, training, labour and employee relations, HR compliance and administration.
  • 5-6 years of relevant experience preferably in a global organization.
  • Knowledge of Swiss employment and labour law, ARD TUPE legislations, payroll rules and experience would be critical. Knowledge and experience specific to Geneva is necessary.
  • Able to build collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization, including with remote teams and individuals.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, multinational working environment, requiring prioritizing and handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • French and English languages are a must , additional languages like German is a plus
  • Good Communication and Influencing skills.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred, SAP a plus.
