Oracle SCM Functional Consultant

We are looking for Oracle SCM Functional Consultant for QatarHours of Service: Up to 6 days per week (up to 48 hours per week). On-call during nights and weekends per work demands.
  • Configure, maintain, and support Oracle E-Business Suite SCM Functional setup on Oracle R12.5 and higher versions with a bilingual (Arabic/English) focus in the domain of Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules, including Sourcing, Purchasing (PO)with iProcurement (iProc), Service Procurement, Inventory (INV),Shipping/Distribution areas, Advisory Budget, iSupplier.
  • Configure, maintain, and support cross-functional modules in the environment of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), or Quote to Order (Q2O) and Configure Product Quote (CPQ) cycles with possible integration of third-party systems.
  • Perform project activities/project management across Oracle application Implementations and third-party integrations with personalization, AME, and Workflow.
  • Perform life cycle implementation and support of Oracle finance EBS modules; Development (DEV), Conference Room Pilot (CRP), User Acceptance Test (UAT), user training, go-live, and post-production support in a multi-org environment.
  • Design, configure, test, document, and deploy application modifications according to user and business specifications, including requirement gathering, gap analysis, andproduct/module implementation and customization phases.
  • Partner with business users to identify opportunities for system improvements, lead functional implementations/enhancements of Oracle modules, and monitor and document post-implementation problems and revision requests.
  • Analyse, recognize, and research complex business problems to expedite resolutions.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for process improvements through standardization, changes in practice, or IT automation.
  • Develop and execute system test plans. Conduct and document rigorous quality assurance testing processes for all production deliverables. Support all stages of the SCM, including PR, sourcing process, contracts, tenders, Purchase Order (PO)s, receipt, returns, and reporting, tests, and validates patches/upgrades/new processes.
  • Create, manage, and resolve Service Request (SR)s as related to all Oracle modules,identifying, writing, and managing business requirements and following Oracle unified methodology. Contributing to the functional and technical design, prototyping, and process design stages of implementations (including scenario design, flow mapping).
  • Create business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional design documents, test plans and test cases, user-training documents, and implementation documents using Oracle Unified Methodology.
  • Gather business requirements, understand, and translate into technical requirements,and provide solutions on business processes. Analyze, design, and implement integrated customized solutions that meet approved functional requirements and specifications.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis on all functional issues with detailed documentation.
  • Initiate the creation processes to improve the user experience.
  • Collaborating with team members in a team environment to extend field experience to different client situations.
  • Perform knowledge-sharing meetings with team members with proper documentation.
  • Perform functional training for staff (this includes all configuration setup necessary to function required business processes) along with end-user/functional/technical guide.
  • Perform training of Oracle E-Business SCM Module configuration to staff.
  • Create vendor support tickets for any issues or requirements that need support.
  • Create incident support tickets and change requests for CAB approval along with the solution document.
  • Have hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications in previous roles.
  • Configure and support Oracle Financials, Inventory, and Supply Chain Management in Oracle Fusion.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Mandatory Qualification Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT related field
  • Minimum 10+ of related experience with applicable certifications.
