- Run the day-to-day pursuit support - typically managing one of our largest and/or most strategically important pursuits at a time (but sometimes more), strengthen Deloitte's pursuit capability across the pursuit lifecycle and drive a higher win rate on key opportunities.
- Assist the client service delivery team in crafting a compelling value proposition, winning messages, and a differentiated strategy for the specific opportunity.
- Provide strategic advice to the business in relation to key messaging, team, our differentiators, competitor intelligence and investments.
- Develop and own the pursuit plan (in conjunction with the client service pursuit lead), establish key milestones and deliverables, and monitor assignments through the establishment of a pursuit working site (e.g. using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint etc.). Working with Pursuit Consultant and junior team members to execute actions and draft deliverables.
- Provide oversight and quality review for proposal and presentation documents, design approach, risk reviews, and ensure strategic messaging is represented in all deliverables.
- Bring best practices from other pursuits and extended pursuit networks to assist in closing content gaps.
- Flag and escalate issues to the Pursuit Coach and Lead Engagement Partner where applicable.
- Work in conjunction with the Creative team to support production of printed and/or multi-media materials.
- Assist and support select learning and development initiatives to build and enhance Deloitte's sales excellence capabilities across the firm.
- Manage with an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
- Link closely with the wider PCoE team to ensure seamless working, to include management of our strategic client pipeline and feedback processes.
- Experience working with, influencing and building consensus with senior-level stakeholders. Demonstrable strong client relationship, communication and presentation skills
- Experience with national and/or global professional services organisations
- A proactive and 'self-starter' attitude
- Strong and effective project management skills: able to work independently and maintain excellent quality control over the milestones and deliverables
- Proven ability to address and manage conflict
- Strong use of initiative and able to work well under pressure, maintain composure and to tight timeframes
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills with a focus on quality
- Pursuit and proposal development experience and client service backgrounds highly preferred
- An understanding of Tax and Legal related services is an advantage but not a pre-requisite
