The Lead, Environmental Services may report to the Director, Manager or other leader and is responsible for organizing and guiding the environmental services team in completing tasks in a timely and effective manner and with the highest quality. The Lead will also act as a contact for supervisors and managers to convey work requests to the team and will provide back to supervisors and managers feedback regarding team members’ performance.QualificationsEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Prior team leader and/or environmental service worker experience is a plus.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills to give the team direction.
  • Proven ability to motivate other to achieve desired results.

  • Instill a service-minded approach to all tasks performed by environmental services staff by demonstrating a personal enthusiasm and team spirit.
  • Motivate staff by communicating areas done well and areas needing improvement.
  • Retrain environmental services associates as directed by the environmental services management.
  • Alway recommend and observe staff coverage by utilizing schedules to employee resources effectively.
  • Inspect equipment daily to maintain it in clean condition and in good order.
  • Maintain good public relations with all patients, facility and staff personnel.
  • Assume responsibility for the quality standard in his or her area.
