Are you passionate about shaping the future of young minds in the realm of Hard Materials? Our client, a reputable school in Taupo is seeking a dedicated and skilled Resistant Materials Teacher to join their technology faculty.Key Responsibilities: * Curriculum Delivery: Design and deliver engaging lessons in Resistant Materials, with a focus on Engineering and Woodwork topics.
  • Student Engagement: Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Implement effective assessment strategies and provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and growth.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in Resistant Materials education and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Technology faculty to enhance the overall learning experience for students.
  • Extra-Curricular Involvement: Engage in extra-curricular activities related to Resistant Materials to enrich the educational experience of students outside the classroom.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Teaching qualification in level 7 or above (NZQA equivalent) and valid New Zealand Teaching Registration.
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching Resistant Materials, particularly in Engineering and Woodwork, at the secondary school level.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, classroom management abilities, and a passion for innovative teaching methods.
  • Knowledge: Sound understanding of the New Zealand curriculum preferred
  • Attributes: Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to supporting the holistic development of students.
