- Process purchase requests by creating, reviewing, and releasing purchase orders to suppliers in line with governance requirements.
- Purchase order management, including tracking/expediting to ensure a cost-efficient supply of materials in line with demand.
- Negotiation and awarding of work packages in line with company guidelines.
- Support Order Winning enquiries in an efficient manner by providing cost effective executable quotations from qualified suppliers.
- Coordinate with suppliers to meet operational/customer requirements through clear communication & escalate any risks in execution to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier delivery, quality, cost, responsiveness as required and address performance issues with suppliers as necessary.
- Demonstrate strong customer focus by handling requests in a timely manner & to a high standard.
- Market assessment and identification of new relevant suppliers
- Actively seek process optimization and improvement opportunities in relevant areas.
- Comply with Company policies at all times, for example, Business Conduct Guidelines and Confidential Information.
- Generates, documents, and implements savings measures; monitors and reports relevant KPI
- Drives early procurement / supplier involvement and cost-out activities
- Identifies procurement risks and opportunities and implement respective measures
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Business, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience required within Procurement & Supply Chain.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft office products (Power Point, Word and Excel).
- Experience with SAP is desirable.
- Must be customer focused and a collaborative team player.
- Possess the ability to assess priorities, demonstrate flexibility and understand sense of urgency.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, demonstrate problem solving abilities, decision-making, and continuous improvement skills.
