- In close collaboration with the leadership group, drives the strategic analysis of the lines of business that inform prioritization, objectives, targets and key initiatives to drive future success
- Engage with senior leadership teams to communicate the impact of local or departmental business decisions on P&L; support decision making to achieve local or departmental goals
- Leads requested analysis and collaboratively strategizes to solve identified business issues or challenges
- In partnership with the Head of FP&A, generates insights on how to improve the performance of the LOB and/or products, through researching market trends, regulatory developments and market dynamics and analyzing the financial drivers of performance; summarizes and interprets findings, and makes recommendations to senior leadership
- Consolidates, summarizes and interprets complex research findings and prepares concise and relevant presentations/reports for senior leadership; evaluate internal reporting and identify the right metrics to drive efficiency
- Monitor key performance indicators, communicate to leadership team on trends and performance against goals; identify opportunities to enhance existing KPI reporting to the extent needed to provide transparency and assist in decision making
- Provides ongoing benchmarking of the business’ financial and business performance as important reference point for senior leadership
- Partners with other BBH departments both inside and outside of PBIM to evaluate our competitive position in the market
- Leads written communication from senior leadership to the business line, including quarterly letters, the development and production of key performance indicator reports, and Town Hall presentations
- Ensures effective communication on strategic issues within PBIM and communicate early indications of positive or negative deviations relative to plan, or relative to historical results, through the regular review of daily reports
- Drive the development of internal operational dashboards and monitor business drivers for all functions, highlighting trends and analyzing underlying causes of variance for the finance team to leverage in presentations to the executive team
- Serves as secretary of the business’ Oversight Committee, coordinating, preparing financial and strategic meeting materials for, and participating in each meeting
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; MBA strongly preferred; CFA a plus
- 10+ years experience within financial services, with prior experience in a financial services consulting role; deep knowledge of the Asset & Wealth Management industry
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated expertise in analyzing and manipulating data
- Strong knowledge of the market and how it impacts strategic initiatives.
