- Support Pastor in careful stewardship of parish financial resources.
- Oversee reception and deposit of key income streams such as Sunday collection and school tuition.
- Directs Bookkeeper and Shared Accounting services contracted from the Archdiocese in record-keeping, transactions, and communications connected to parish finances.
- Oversee contract renewals and other major financial matters, obtaining necessary permissions from the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
- Cultivate staff and volunteer compliance with parish financial procedures and controls.
- Prepares an annual budget and participate in Parish Finance Council meetings.
- Participate in twice-monthly parish staff meeting.
- Leads meeting of business and communication staff and key volunteers.
- Maintains confidentiality in all areas of responsibility as required.
- Discharge other duties required by the current time of transition.
