- Facilitate and orchestrate projects and day-to-day activities, leading by example and diving into specifics when required.
- Chair project meetings, tackling technical, functional, and organizational challenges head-on.
- Rally the regional and global team to tackle issues in a dynamic, customer-focused environment, while adhering to strict regulatory and cybersecurity standards.
- Manage project execution, addressing staffing concerns and handling escalations on a daily basis.
- Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, senior management, and client delivery teams.
- Enhance team capabilities and value through continuous staff development and fostering strong relationships with global counterparts.
- Assess current business processes and systems to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Serve as the liaison between the global and regional teams, ensuring smooth service continuity, support coverage, and compliance with SLAs and SOPs.
- Address operational gaps with a focus on metrics, automation, cost management, risk mitigation, performance, reliability, and adherence to cloud best practices.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration across functions, resource optimization, and process streamlining to reduce technical debt, costs, and increase efficiency.
- Interpret and communicate business and technical goals from various perspectives, including client requirements, internal development, and operational viewpoints.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving staffing, policy, or administrative issues.
- 10-15 years of IT industry experience, including 5-7 years of leadership and management of teams/departments spanning Business-As-Usual (BAU) support and project delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and nurturing new teams, functions, or skill sets.
- Proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly within the AWS ecosystem, with certification being advantageous.
- Demonstrated creativity and a strong drive to analyze and resolve intricate issues.
- Comfortable operating within a large, diverse global team with multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with various delivery methodologies, including waterfall, agile, scrum, and kanban.
- Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism, consistency, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly in English.
- Advanced English proficiency. You will work with international teams from all over the world
- Exposure to the financial services sector or experience in collection recovery systems would be beneficial.
