- Maintain a positive, cooperative, and professional demeanor.
- Participate in team member training for food preparation, service, and cash handling.
- Monitor cooking and preparation process to ensure quality and portion sizes.
- Monitor compliance to health regulations regarding food storage, preparation and serving.
- Ensure daily food stand cleanup and equipment/utensil sanitation process meets health regulations and company protocol.
- Resolve guest complaints regarding food and service quality.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds.
- Participate in the activities associated with seasonal startup and shutdown/winterization of all food service stands.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the business.
- Serve multiple catered events at the same time.
- Direct Team to set-up, prep, serve, and clean-up catered events.
- Plan out food and labor for upcoming catered events.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices associated with food service management.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with professional colleagues, team members and representatives of public agencies.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic math skills.
- Current NYS recognized Serve Safe food safety certificate preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in food service supervisory/management roles with progressive levels of responsibility or relevant combination of education and experience.
- Ability to handle multiple and complex tasks simultaneously.
