- Work with internal and external Clients to prepare a complete SBA Loan servicing application, review supporting documentation and eligibility.
- The spreading of financial statements, analyzing financials of the borrower and guarantors, and collateral analysis among other items following the guidelines as established by the SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Respond to RM and Client questions on program requirements and allowable servicing actions.
- Order 3rd party reports in compliance with SBA requirements. Includes but not limited to Business Valuations, Appraisals, Environmental due diligence.
- Assess credit risk pertaining to requests for new or renewals of existing loans to new or existing customers, primarily through the analysis of financial statements, credit history and collateral documentation.
- Responsible for staying abreast of SOP changes and maintaining a proficiency in the SBA’s SOP requirements and Bank Policies
- Maintain productive and effective relationships with the SBA Operations Team, other Bank lines of business and support groups.

- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred – HS diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3+ years commercial loan processing or related experience
- Three to five years of experience in SBA lending
- Advanced Knowledge of SBA 7a guaranteed, 504 and Express loan program requirements
- Exemplary communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to handle information gathering for multiple complex projects simultaneously
- High attention to detail, in a fast-paced, high-production professional environment exhibiting strong problem-solving and communication skills.
