Plan and implement activities related to the procurement of materials, parts, components, equipment, and services.
Work with internal stakeholders to develop the commercial aspects of a comprehensive contract structure and contracting strategy for all major commodities. Partner with Sourcing team members and Legal to negotiate and draft contracts that give Skyworks competitive advantage while minimizing exposure to risks.
Draft and redline SOWs, amendments, and other types of agreements in partnership with Legal.
Work with Legal and within the contract management system to ensure proper contract approvals, storage, timely negotiations or renewals, and updates to key business terms (e.g., forecasts, order placement and delivery, Incoterms, and quality specifications.)
Monitor the cost, schedule, and performance aspects of major contracts to ensure contract compliance.QualificationsMinimum ten years of experience managing sourcing contracts for a major semiconductor company.
Proven experience negotiating with component vendors, materials companies, equipment companies, and service providers.
Solid understanding of the wafer fabrication and module assembly processes.
Ability to work with engineering to translate development projects into firm business commitments.
In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
Experience drafting and redlining SOWs and amendments and preparing agreements based on templates.
Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to distill complex business concepts into contract language.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
A collaborator that is results-oriented and enthusiastic to win.
J.D. degree or paralegal certificate is a plus.#LI-DD1The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $136,800 - $271,500 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
