- The carrying out of Inspections on properties after works have been completed. The inspections must be carried out in accordance with the SEAI's Code of Practice and Standards and Specifications and I.S.10101.
- The accurate completion of all inspection documentation; whether on paper or electronic device.
- It is a specific requirement that all targets set by scheme management are met as regular performance reviews will be carried out. Failure to meet these targets may result in disciplinary action and possible termination of your contract.
- The provision of energy advice/guidance to applicants on the scheme.
- The provision of technical guidance to colleagues working on the scheme.
- The provision of technical guidance to contractors registered to complete works under the scheme.
- Provide customer service in line with the agreed code of practice and quality standards.
- Manage and fulfil appointments made with homeowners through the helpdesk.
- Conduct follow up activities and administration duties which may include outbound calls, emails, paperwork etc…
- Attend training courses as necessary.
- Complete requests as instructed by scheme management.
- Adhere to the KSN Energy Code of Conduct and the rule and regulations set out in the KSN Handbook.
- FETAC Level Six qualification in a construction related discipline/trade - Electrician/Engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical installations, in particular Solar PV works.
- Pleasant, friendly manner with an ability to work well in a team environment.
- Good technical skills - working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Full, clean Driving Licence
- Ability to comprehend, capture and interpret basic customer information.
- Strong powers of judgement and an ability to manage difficult customer situations.
- Ability to adapt to change in meeting the changing demands of the KSN Energy/SEAI strategy.
- Dependability; following instructions & taking responsibility for actions.
- Quality management; ability to promote and improve quality.
- A high level of motivation.
