Provides support to UN personnel in dealing with security situations and register the actions taken.
Supervise monitoring of field missions of UN personnel
Liaising with local authorities to address security events
Monitoring the local news network and informing the Security Adviser of any security- related issue.
Distribution of security-related information to UN personnel.
Preparation of security incident reports when UN personnel require support from the Operations Room.
Follow-up of the daily activities of the Operations Room conducted by the Radio Operations, as instructed by the SA.
Provides general administrative and operational assistance to the SA and the FSAs

- Secondary educationis required
- Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in information systems, computer or related field, with technical or higher education.
- Experience in Microsoft office packages is required.
- Experience in operations control rooms and monitoring in humanitarian field missions.
- Desirable experience in the security area of United Nations organizations, NGOs, private international organizations or embassies.
- Desirable experience in research and studies in the maps y geolocation designing,
- Language requirements: Spanish and intermediate knowledge of English is desirable.
