Senior Tax Analyst - International (hybrid)

- Preparation or review of US GAAP quarterly and annual financial reporting and analysis of US GAAP and Adjusting Operating Income taxes for international life insurance, non-insurance entities, and/or US affiliates
- Preparation of quarterly taxable income forecast for International Business entities
- Preparing of US GAAP income tax and US cash tax models for M&As and developing tax legislative changes
- Preparing estimated earnings and profits, GILTI, subpart F inclusion for forecast, actual, and modeling purposes.
- Analyzing US GAAP pre-tax income drivers and US GAAP/Cash Tax impacts.
- Partnering with International Business Unit Controllers, Actuarial, Treasury, Investment Teams in the US and overseas
- Partnering with co-sourcing partners in preparation of International Tax Compliance for controlled foreign corporations, controlled foreign partnerships, and disregarded foreign entities.
- Partnering with external service provider in preparation of US transfer pricing documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or other related business disciplines required
- CPA and/or master’s degree in tax or accounting a plus
- Corporate Tax experience (4-5 years), financial services sector is preferred with life insurance expertise a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational/analytical skills required
- Proven leadership track record strongly desired
- Solid PC skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- CorpTax Compliance & Financial reporting software
- GAAP accounting for taxes: ASC-740/FAS 109/FIN48
- Understanding of life insurance taxation (SSAP 101) a plus
- Understanding of international tax concepts (GILTI, Sub F, E&P, BEAT) a plus
- Understanding of financial service companies including insurance, investments, and asset management a plus
- Strong work ethic and able to partner in a team-oriented environment
- Organized and flexible - ability to manage multiple projects/assignments, while meeting deadlines
