- Develop and publish the monthly production schedule for multiple Photopolymer, Formulated Products and Polyimide product lines.
- Work with Operations and Shop Floor control to optimize detailed production plans that maximize plant efficiencies while supporting customer requirements.
- Work with Operations to make appropriate changes as necessary and ensure manufacturing is aligned.
- Work globally, with multiple regions, to gather forecast data, purchase orders and customer requirements and utilize these as part of building master schedule.
- Plan raw materials and place purchase orders in support of production plans. Align with Purchasing to ensure on time delivery as required.
- Track returnable containers for multiple product lines globally to ensure availability for customer demand and production plans.
- Support Import/Exports and Order Processing/Customer Inquiries (order entry/processing, invoice coding, freight forwarder coordination, etc.)
- Ensure all MRP material master files are updated as required to accurately reflect all the key planning touchpoints.
- Review distribution center requirements to ensure optimal inventory levels and provide solutions when issues are surfaced and as necessary.
- Alert customer service as necessary of any delays to in house or purchased finished product schedule.
- Utilize ERP/MRP system to streamline raw material planning process and update the appropriate files as necessary.
- Track and disposition discrepant material.
- Assist the planning manager/operations director with reporting and special projects as needed.
- BS degree in Operations Management, Supply chain management or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is required.
- Possess working knowledge of ERP systems, MRP and inventory management.
- SAP experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work independently as well as cross functionally with other key business teams.
